The Innovation Challenge
Following the massive funding cuts for humanitarian and development work, Safer Edge wants to help organisations by providing free access to courses and guidance. Our platform provides a range of services (downloads, multiple languages, individual accounts etc) which need to be paid for. Financially we can only provide so much for free!
The Answer
Create a 'lite' version of our platform where courses can be accessed by anyone, anywhere for free.
Prioritise providing free courses in areas most impacted by cuts: eg climate emergency, LGBTQ+ rights.
Collate all of the free micro-learning, guidance and documents we have created over the last 5 years in one easily accessible space.

The Use of A.I. in Learning and Risk
Safer Edge already uses Artificial Intelligence across all of our work. If you have met one of our avatars in a course you have already seen some of our AI! We even have the capability to create avatars of real people, check out the video below to see an example from our own CEO:
As AI techniques develop, we can now create bespoke videos in specific settings entirely created online.
