Training

HEAT training: 23 modules/14 hours covering all duty of care requirements in HIGH risk environments including conflict zones.

Cost: £300 per person with discounts for group bookings

Advanced Personal Security Training: 15 modules/9 hours covering key personal security risks in conflict zones.

Cost: £200 per person, offer to 31 March.

Crisis Management Training:  6 modules/2 hours training for managers and key staff responding to crisis events and managing incidents. Can include training on conducting practice simulations.

Cost: £55 per person.

Advanced Personal Security Training: For working close to the border: 15 modules/9 hours covering key personal security risks in conflict zones.

Cost: £200 per person, offer to 31 March.

ITS training: For working in Ukraine’s neighbouring countries: 9 modules/ 4 hours training covering key risks and safety for all staff.

Cost: £60 per person

Crisis Management Training:  6 modules/2 hours training for managers and key staff responding to crisis events and managing incidents. Can include training on conducting practice simulations.

Cost: £55 per person

Security Managers Training: 9 hours of learning how to respond to changes in security environment, operationalising and managing security procedures. Cost: £275 per person

Guidance

Safeguarding

We have extensive experience of safeguarding in conflict zones as well as previous projects in Ukraine. 
FREE Safeguarding Assessments for Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova, and Belarus. These reports provide country-specific data on vulnerable people, the impact of the invasion of Ukraine and the implications for organisational safeguarding. They also include a set of recommended mitigations for each country.
Safeguarding training for staff, volunteers and for raising awareness of rights in communities. Available in fluent Polish, Ukrainian and Romanian languages.
Tools developed from lessons learned in previous conflicts including:
  • Rapid due diligence assessments of civil partners
  • Development of partners' safeguarding capabilities using set materials developed for the invasion of Ukraine
  • Training on remote safeguarding management
  • Review of safeguarding crisis response tools.
We also provide support to developing safeguarding elements in proposals and programmes.
